Inspired from Elaine Morgan’s aquatic ape’s theory I started a visual research about the connection between water and people.
That’s why I decided to move to Ostend, the city at the sea (as they call it in Belgium). In here I used to take long walks at the seaside during the sunset. The colors of the sunset on the sea affected my work’s colors.
“ Waterapen” (aquatic apes) was the name of my last exhibition in Ostend, Belgium in April 2022
